So, Furries in Finland, all I can say is have fun finding the groups, they do exist and are active!
I personally have been a furry for 6 years now, however, that was on the internet, VRC, etc. Recently, I started the process of trying to meet more furries and groups and I’ve been making friends for the past few months. Then finally, I found my way into the groups… 2 weeks ago, so took me quite a while and prompted me to write this.
As annoying as that process was, I’m not here to whine about it, I’m here to tell you that Furries do exist in Finland and also set up and attend lots and lots of events. Way more than what you’ll find publicly available on google.
I think right now your best bet is the Finfur forums to find info. Your next best option is the furry meet/date app Barq, where you can get to yap with locals and hopefully find your way in.
Other than that Id suggest Finfur Animus, the Finnish furry con which has happened in September or October in the past. You can register and go without being in the groups.
Overall, from my very limited experience, once you have some contacts you will have the best success asking for Telegram or Discord groups.
Most places, from what I have seen, prefer to keep their invite links hidden under the surface. As much as that annoys me and makes joining harder, I do understand how safety is a consideration here.
